1999 Gianni Versace couture turquoise and pink layered net dress. This stretch dress has a jersey floral printed under layer with a net overlay that has a more abstract print. It is asymmetrically cut with gathers to one side, a cowl neck and an invisible zip to fasten at the side. It is in excellent condition and labelled an Italian size 42 which is a UK 10 or US 6.
Kate Moss famously dyed her hair pink at the request of Donatella Versace for the upcoming spring/summer 1999 Gianni Versace show in Milan. The ad campaign, which featured a very close version of this dress, was shot by acclaimed American photographer Steven Meisel, a powerful and regular contributor to Italian and American Vogue. He rose to fame shooting Madonna's book "Sex" in 1992.
